Getting back to........

I wanted to write a quick note to thank you all for the wonderful posts of encouragement my family and I have received. Writing the posts is difficult for me as I was not the writer of this family. I have so appreciated the outpouring of love for my family. Words cannot express the gratitude of so many people. God has given me several wonderful prayer warriors. I have had very good days for the most part, but the night time is exceptionally difficult. I know that God is giving me the grace and taking me through this journey with Him holding me all the way. The children are doing well. I am so thankful for my mother and sister Dana who have taken my children all week and showered them with love and affection. They have answered many questions about Warren's death and Heaven. The teaching they have received from God's Word has been priceless. Please continue to pray for my family and I as we have a journey ahead of us. But I know God is Good and we will continue to give Him honor in this. I truly covet your prayers during this time. Life will never be the same. Pray for us as we begin our "new normal" next week. Oh, if you have a good story of Warren, please post it or e-mail me. We are compiling these for the children. Thank you

Tana,
Scott and I want you to know that you and the children are in our thoughts and prayers daily. It has been difficult to get things back to "normal" here. It seems everywhere we go there are memories of Warren and memories of the plans we made together not so long ago. We are looking forward to Thankgiving with you and the kids. If you need anything....you know we are here for you.
Love,
Scott and Tanya

Dear cousin,

We stand amazed. As we think about and reflect on "all of this" we just stand amazed at what you, Warren and the kiddies have been through and will go through. When we think of you we stand amazed and inspired - inspired! Then we go to our knees again and kneel amazed at a marvelous God we are only beginning to understand. We are with you in spirit here. We can't pretend to say anything to help, but we do continue in prayer on your behalf and will not stop. We care deeply about you and your young ones and we are committed to you if you will allow us to minister to you.

Tana: Please count me as one of your prayer warriors. I am so thankful you have such a supportive family. I know your Mom has been there for both you and Pastor Wararen and the kids every step of the way. I admire her for the way she has got in the car and come to Terre Haute. Randi

Tana, Continuing in prayer. You were on our hearts at the reunion. I'll continue to pray for you and the kids as you begin your "new normal." I love your idea to compile memories of Warren for the kids. I'm sure those stories will be healing for you too. Warren's life was certainly not boring! May you feel the Lord's hand upon you. Although I didnt know Warren and it has been years since I have seen you, many times have I asked Char how things were doing in your family. I was so sorry to hear of Warren's passing but am glad that he is now with the Lord and his suffering is no longer. He left you a wonderful family that you will nurture in Gods love and also Warren's love.
Will send many prayers your direction, Tana

Hello Tana,

You don't know me, but I knew Warren many years ago, in high school at Waldron. I was so excited to learn that he had been a Christian. I never knew that until I learned of his passing. I am just absolutely amazed and overjoyed to know that Warren was a believer! I know the faith Warren had has been an inspiration to me and to many other people as well, I'm sure. I have prayed for you and your children many times since I learned of all these things, and I will certainly continue to keep you in prayer. I am reminded in scripture that God comforts us in all our affliction so that we may pass that comfort on to those who are in any affliction. I want to take the comfort God has faithfully shown to me in all of my troubles and pass that on to you in all that you are enduring. May the Lord wrap his everlasting arms of love around you during this time, and may He strengthen you so that you may persevere through all of this.

In Christ,

Stephen Haymond

Tana, God has put you on my heart so many times over the past few weeks. I pray that you will feel God's love and peace in such an incredible way that it will dispel those night time shadows.
One of my favorite things about Warren was that he was so kind. He teased, but he wasn't making fun of people. I remember the first time that I met him, but that's a not fun story about me. I always enjoyed working Welcome Center when he was working security because he was fun and thoughtful. Those nights always went so much faster.

Tana, Jim and I were just talking about you and the kids the other night and how Warren's absence must really be felt as you try to get into some routine. Our little Adin continues to pray that God would give you peace. Jim will have to get on and tell some stories about Warren. Just the other day he was telling me a story about Warren walking up to people and showing them Oreo cookies in his mouth. It's no wonder our husbands were friends.

Hello Tana, you were on my mind much yesterday and today. Praying for you and your health and strength as well as the children's health. Amelia has spoken daily of you all. She has missed being able to see you all as much as we had in the past. She thinks we all need to go see Patti soon. I am sure "her" Chloe, Maddie, and Spencer are on the top of her mind. When the doorbell rang this Saturday she yelled, "I'll get it, Its Miss Tana" then was stunned when it was not you at the door. She was just so sure you were going to be there.. We are available for evening and weekend outings remember! Call me anytime for even a short time with the kids.

Love you
Cynthia
